Well done, team Burghley, on the Christmas Ladies AM-AM!
The compliments were pouring in from players representing 92 players from 22 clubs.
Not only were the greens quicker than lightning compared to other courses, but the chaps in the pro shop were incredibly helpful and made everyone feel welcome. And let's not forget about the tip-top roast dinner and the care from the hospitality staff.
The festive clubhouse created the perfect ambience, and the halfway house served delicious treats and Glühwein to keep our spirits high. The ladies know how to spoil guests and do the section proud.
Out of the 92 players, it's amazing to see that only 5 of them were our very own Burghley ladies! The winners took advantage of knowing our course, didn't let the side down and romped home with an amazing score of 90 points with their guests from Birstall.
It's no secret that happy ladies are the key to success and today's event proved just that. Good food and an excellent round of golf truly make for a winning combination!
