Great performance by Burghley ladies at Thorpe Wood Pro Am yesterday. Gail Hunt, Helen Haynes and Sue Churchill came 3rd with their allocated Pro Keely Chierocato, with 85pts. The winning score was 89pts. Suffice to say that Helen on her ex home course of 15 yrs played a blinder and showed everyone how to do it with 6 pars. The other Burghley team of Michelle Powell, Gill Bedford and Janet Farrington came 6th on countback with 82pts. It was freezing weather with unexpected fast greens after they had been cut twice since Sunday's practice round!! There was a great prize fund and big sponsorship from Atkins Gregory. Suzanne and her Nene Park team came 4th.
