The Burghley ladies B Team marked the half way point of their league season with an impressive away win at Belton Woods on The Woodside course. In glorious sunshine, the four pairs fought hard on the tough away course. The newly promoted team - now playing in division 3 south - scored an away win of 2.5 to 1.5.
So far this season the Burghley Bees had been defeated at Stoke Rochford away, and scored an emphatic 4-0 win at home against Blankney A team.
The team is welcoming three new team members already this year, with Joanne Cheshire continuing her unbeaten record and Mary Gates and Janet Farrington playing in the next two matches between now and the end of June.
