TASKERS B TEAM TRIUMPH AT SCRAPTOFT

 

Tasker’s B Team won 5/2 at Scraptoft. It was challenging with the muddy conditions but Burghley Ladies won through with a grand total win of 9/5.

RESULTS ANTHONY BARNES MEMORIAL TROPHY

 A new competition was added to this year's calendar to celebrate the life and legacy of a much-loved member who sadly passed away just over a year ago - Anthony Barnes. In honour of Ant's memory, the formerly known Burghley Masters has been renamed the Anthony Barnes Memorial Trophy.  The competition is a Ladies and Gentleman Pairs Betterball Stableford. Winning Ladies and Gents team members receive embroidered club sweaters .

CAPTAIN'S CHARITY MORNING

Every week should begin like this!  Karen Collins, our Ladies Captain, organised a Captain’s Charity Coffee Morning to support the Friends of Stamford Hospital.

The event kicked off with a friendly 9-hole mixed competition, followed by a lively gathering in the clubhouse brimming with homemade cakes, crafts, plants, books, and donation stalls featuring golf equipment and clothing.

It was a tremendous success! The Ladies raising £995, all of which will be donated to The Friends of Stamford Hospital

TASKERS B PLAY SCRAPTOFT

 Burghley Ladies Tasker B Team played their first match against Scraptoft today. Despite rain and high winds, Burghley managed a good win of 4 to 3. The matches were played in good spirit with some of them going to the 18th. There was a playoff match that went to three extra holes. The Burghley team will be meeting Scraptoft away on the 16th of April.
