TUESDAY LADIES' ANNUAL COMPETITION AND LUNCH

Thirty two ladies took part in the 14 hole Autumn Cups foursomes competition in summer like conditions.   A whole host of teams came in with 26 points, but third on count back were Sue Grindall and Chris Taylor.  Janet Farrington and Maggie Kinch were second, but well ahead of everyone else was the team of Helen Haynes and Pauline Crampin with 31 points.  Helen and Pauline played some superb golf including a number of amazingly long putts.

53 ladies enjoyed a delicious meal after the competition, and it was a delight to see so many past players, and old friends gathered together.

The total raised for the charity EACH (East Anglian Childrens Hospice) was £254.

This event is always a great success, and Anne Harrison-Smith thanked Elspeth, Margaret and Joan for all their hard work throughout the year.

ULLESTHORPE THE SOCIAL SIDE!!!

Of course, the trip wasn't all about the golf, despite 3 rounds being played.  As you can see, there was a lot more to it than that! Hopefully the photos tell a story of golfing challenges and the all important time spent preparing for the next challenge with some serious R&R (aka socialising, a little alcohol and lots of fun)
