Forty ladies participated in the Annual Competition today. Despite the mud and rain, spirits were high as they played a foursomes format over 14 holes. Afterwards over sixty ladies attended the excellent lunch and were well looked after by Sam Dyer and his team. There were wonderful prizes for the winners as well as a wee present for all participants. Elspeth Irvine, Margaret Middleton and Joan Hickman worked hard to make it a successful day despite there being a number of dropouts due to illness and minor accidents. Elspeth was presented with beautiful flowers created by Maggie. Finally, Elspeth was able to announce that over £350.00 in donations had been raised for EACH-East Anglia Children's Hospice.
